Understanding Co-Payments and Coverage Levels

The amount covered under the CDCP depends on your family’s adjusted net income:

  • Income under $70,000 – 100% of eligible CDCP fees covered.
  • Income between $70,000–$79,999 – 60% of eligible CDCP fees covered.
  • Income between $80,000–$89,999 – 40% of eligible CDCP fees covered.
⚠️ Please be aware: CDCP fees are set by the Government of Canada and may differ from our clinic’s standard fees. Any remaining balance will be your responsibility. We recommend discussing potential out-of-pocket costs with our team prior to treatment.

Important Notes for CDCP Patients

Preauthorization
Some treatments may require government approval before we proceed. Don’t worry—we’ll guide you through this step.

Coordination with Other Programs

If you’re receiving benefits from another government dental program, the CDCP will coordinate with it to avoid overlap. Let us know if this applies to you.

Annual Renewal
CDCP benefits must be renewed each year. Be sure to reapply before June 1, 2025, to avoid coverage interruptions.
